Service name: PCM - Client: nMachines
Designed for nMachines, PCM (People Connection
Machine) is an IM system for creating a dynamic community
inside the IM system itself.
The application server is our own
OFS
, specially adjusted for the PCM service.
Devised by nMachines and designed and developed
by Icona based on the specifications they provided, PCM
can manage separate profiling for each community, while
allowing searches for joint features or searches for specific
community features.
The system also contains extended profiling features
(with tree-type processing of the possible values of an
attribute) and a skin system (customized client graphics)
which can be dynamically adjusted for each separate community
inside the IM client.
